Most people recognize Sam Neely as a highly respected character actor in a diverse range of work, including: HBO’s critically-acclaimed Western drama Deadwood; various documentary specials on the History Channel (Legend of Jesse James), and the Discovery Channel (The Da Vinci Code Decoded); as well as major Hollywood movies (including Million Dollar Baby and National Treasures 2).

His range & depth of emotion and experience that comes through onscreen has largely been influenced by over 30 years of travel and live Auctioneering throughout the USA – living with his growing family of 3 children in Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma for 25 years, and finally settling down with his wife Ginni and their two dogs Buckshot and Augustus in a beautiful California ranch.

Sam is still a tireless auctioneer for a wide range of worthwhile groups, including: children’s hospitals, special education schools, and wildlife sanctuaries.

He also co-owns his own media production company, Hot Ticket Media, which has successfully produced various regional TV series including Louisiana’s fun and informative 30-Minute cooking program, The Good Time Kitchen, starring Cajun chef, musician, and comic Richard LeBoeuf.

Sam is truly a versatile and active gentleman for whom the armchair or the couch is never an option!
