Anyone who has ever been to Las Vegas since 1996 catching any of this town's legendary live ensemble performances will most likely have seen our very own Heather Burdette in action!
A Theaters Arts alumnus (graduating with Honors and a Minor in Psychology) of Georgia's private 2-year liberal arts school Young Harris College and the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), she was at first on her way to a Los Angeles-based film & TV career when fate had found her being cast in the original 1996 ensemble of Caesar Palace's $40 M-Dollar dining and entertainment attraction, Caesar's Magical Empire/CME.
In addition to her six/6-year run successfully performing every imaginable female role at CME, Heather has also performed in Live/Interactive/Improv shows, even serving as an Understudy in the Las Vegas troupe of Chicago's legendary The Second City comic ensemble.
Heather is also a critically-acclaimed classical theater actress, having won from the Las Vegas Weekly both its Best Actress Award (as Olivia in Twelfth Night) and Best Supporting Actress Award (as Titania/Hippolyta in A Midsummer's Night Dream) working with the Nevada Theatre Company (voted by both the Las Vegas Weekly and the Las Vegas Review Journal as the "Best Theatre Company in Las Vegas"), where she has also served in its Board of Trustees.
She has also performed in other major Las Vegas strip hotels & restaurant extravaganzas such as: Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville (her stunts there included Stilt Walking and being the Mermaid emerging from the Volcano); and the Hotel Rio's Masquerade Village Show in the Sky (where she rode the mythical winged horse Pegasus for 3 years).
Drawing from her years working all over Las Vegas? booming economy and community, Heather has also set up her own multi-division company that offers: Graphic Design & Web Development; Live Entertainment Services; and Scenic Prop/Illusion/Design Construction. She is also developing her own Self-Help/Instructional DVD series.
With all this critical and commercial acclaim across various fields, no wonder one of her old employers & mentors, Brian Dixon of DEA Inc., had this to say about Heather Burdette:
"If there's anything we need, and no one in the company can do it, Heather will learn how--usually overnight!"
